About This Tool

This tool will search eBay Australia's camera and accessory listings for common typing errors for your entered keyword.

The most common listing typing errors at eBay Australia are:
  1. Wrong Key: Typos based on a seller hitting the wrong key that is near the intended key. Often called "Fat Finger Syndrome".
  2. Missed Key: Due to haste or sticky keyboard seller misses one letter in the keyword.
  3. Transposition: Seller mistakenly hits keys in the wrong order. If your keyword has double letters the results will be dominated by the correctly spelled keyword. (example: bunny with the "n"s transposed is still "bunny".)
  4. Keyed Twice: Seller types one letter of the keyword twice.
Limitations: eBay Australia limit the amount of search term characters we can enter in one search. If you use a keyord of longer than 6 letters then some of our typo's may be removed from the search. So if you use a search term of say 8-9 characters then some or all of the double letter errors may not be searched. A longer keyword of 10 or more characters may prevent some or all of the transposition errors being searched. The longer they keyword the less chance you have of all errors being found.
